I just wanna finish my Snow White cosplay alreadyyy.
I keep seeing gifsets of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and now I reeeally want to watch it and to finish my costume and do a photoshoot and GAH.
Cosplay is not a good hobby to have when you’re poor. XD
Finding Dutch wooden shoes that don’t cost a fortune has been nearly impossible (I’m sorry but I’m not paying $50.00 for them). I’m in talks with an Etsy seller who has a pair that MIGHT fit, but I am awaiting her reply. We shall see. (Also, those things are going to be interesting to walk in. Actually, I will probably have to remove them if I have to walk, then put them on for photos. Hmm, yes, I IZ SMERT.)
Also, I still have to purchase the wig (JUST SHUT UP AND TAKE MY $35, ARDA. JUST TAKE IT.) and style it; I’m going to do all the styling myself on this baby, which will be new. Usually I get pre-curled wigs if I need a curly wig, but I’m doing it all by myself, this time. 83
Oh yeah, and I need a bucket-pail-thing like this one. BUT NO WAY AM I SHELLING OUT $250 FOR A CRUSTY OLD BUCKET. NO, SIR. So I have to find one that’s relatively cheap. (What’s that? The sound of the flea market calling my name? ALAS, IT IS!)
Other than that, there are just a few small things to be finished with the fabric-y part of the costume, then storyboarding/organizing the shoot and all that jazz.
THEN it’s time to make her princess dress.

WIP teaser of my Maid Snow White dress! This costume has been so much fun to work on; lots of fabric modding and interesting materials. I’ve done a lot more work on it since I took these pics a few days ago; I’ve just gotta insert the zipper and do a little more distressing and it will be finished! :D
I feel like this year may actually be the year I finally get to go to Disney. And if not this year, then next.
If I am good about saving money and have the opportunity to go, I hope I’m not too scared to take it.
