Bowties are cool, and so is this knitted necklace! Featuring a hand-knitted bow on a silver chain, this necklace was inspired by everyone’s favorite bowtie-wearing Doctor. Available here in my Etsy shop, TheMoonside!
Look what I unearthed! An artsy shot of my Doctor Who scarf with a cool perspective, a tree, and some grass. Now that’s cool.
XD Kidding. Anyway, this is my baby Who scarf that is now out in the great wide world. This was my original one that I had to end up selling because I was so behind on knitting orders and schoolwork that I had to let it go in order to get everything done. And to maintain my sanity.
If you’re interested, please check out my Etsy shop, TheMoonside, for a scarf like this!
My take on Pippin’s scarf from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Hand-knit by yours truly and for sale here in my Etsy shop, TheMoonside.

One of my Gryffindor-inspired scarves, styled after the ones seen in “Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Chamber of Secrets.” I went with an intense scarlet and warm gold for this scarf, but I could easily knit scarves in other colors! I currently have one for sale here in my Etsy store, TheMoonside.

So, I FINALLY FINISHED THUMBELINA’S FLOWERS.

AND I AM SO RELIEVED. It took SO MANY TRIES to get these 5 little beauties! Like, 25 tries. Seriously. But, at long last, here they are! And here’s a little look at them clipped into the wig:

Ignore the mess in the background and the flyaways in the wig. ^.^
Thumbelina should be finished SOON! (Hur hur, soon, hurrr.)

Be sure to grab them while they’re hot!
I sell hand-knitted creations inspired by hats, scarves, and other accessories seen in video games, movies, and on TV! :D

Guess what, guise!! I HAVE BEEN WORKING!! A LOT. After I gave this huge spiel about how lazy I have been, I finally decided it was time for me to get my butt in gear and DO SOME SHIT. So, I went to Walmart and got more blouse fabric, Sculpey, Mod Podge, flats, paintbrushes, ribbon, etc. Basically everything I need to finish Thumbelina, minus a zipper and grommets.
Also, my wig arrived today and OMG IT’S GORGEOUS. I fiddled with the ponytail a bit and will probably style the front later today. But seriously, guys. Buy Arda wigs. All the time. Nothing else unless you absolutely must.
Anyway, I covered the shoes with my waist-cincher fabric and Mod Podge and they turned out pretty well. Not perfect, but good enough. I also sculpted and am now painting the (hopefully) final 5 hair flowers. But heaven knows I will probably remake those, too, as they are a little sloppy. *sigh* I’m also fiddling with the idea of making her Forget-Me-Not necklace, so that means 8 billion more flowers.
Anyway, once all this is done, I will have very little left to do. My mom and I should be going to Hancock’s on Saturday to pick up the rest of my supplies (and probably a lot more fabric that I don’t need seeing as I already have a huge pile of uncut fabric *cough*), then I will sew sew sew until Thumbelina is FINISHED!! Then it will just be a matter of setting up the shoot date! :D
For now, I will leave you to wait in agonizing anticipation. ;) I may be able to upload a few progress shots soon. Now, you all have fun while I enjoy the The Dark Knight Rises premiere later tonight! I’ll be sure to take some pics to share!
